Puff & Vern Pod

Puff & Vern had a special guest this episode Damian Alexander of askDamian.ca.

We discuss the Toronto Raptors season, we talk about the highlights and the disappointments.  Then we discuss various topics from around the league, from the Brooklyn Nets to the Young and the Shot-less Ben Simmons.

Thanks for listening. Peace!

Puff & Vern go through all the ex-Raptors currently in the league and who we'd love to have back on the Raptors to help us get to the next level.

Puff & Vern talk about the rough times the Raps are having in the playoff, like old times.  Can the raps make it to game 7?

Lots of stories going on around the league including the story of Ben Simmons might make is debut in game 4 with the BKLN Nets with their backs against the world.

Puff & Vern look to see of their playoff predictions at the beginning of the season aged well. We also give our predictions as to who will win each matchup in the first round of the NBA Playoffs

Puff & Vern discuss the following in this episode:

Raptors Rewind:

• Raps loose game again
• The bigger loss was Scottie Barnes, we may not see him again this year

Around the league:

• We discuss some of the other first round matchups.

In this episode we make the predictions of where each team will land with one more game remaining on the slate, and who we think will claim the final playoff spots.

On this episode Puff & Vern talk mostly about how well the Raptors have been playing. They locked in the 5th seed in the eastern conference and they are locked in to play Philadelphia 76ers.

How far do you think the Raptors will go in the playoffs?

The covid files opened back up and Vern had to go on lock down!

The Raptors are playing their best basketball of the season. They are comfortable in the 6th spot, just behind Chicago Bull, and it looks like they will have a good change to get into the 5th spot. It looks like Puff will be buying some erb for Vern, because he's losing the bet.

Things are getting tight in the Eastern Playoff race, 1 thru 6th spot looks to be up for grabs.

Did you hear about the Lakers have fallen out of the play in games.... nope, then nevermind, we don't talk about the Lakers, only LeBron.

Gianns is playing like an MVP, Embiid is looking to over take LeBorn for scoring leader. So many story lines, so little time.
